What is happening to parental common sense and our children? This family lived in Southern California and had a 2 year old boy and 2 pit bulls. For a reason not yet determined, one of the dogs attacked this child and he ended up dying from massive head trauma.
While I know it’s true that there must be a couple exceptions to the belief that pit bulls are killers, I also cannot deny that too many of these attacks are from this particular breed of dog.
Maybe it’s safe to say that most people who elect to have pit bulls train them to be killers on purpose, either to be cool or for supposed protection. All I know is that this breed seems predisposed to maul to death people and other animals.
The bottom line is that this little boy is dead and died in the most horrific way by this pit bull. That’s all I need to know. I would never expose a child to such a dog. While it might be gentle with the owner, the alpha dog of the pack, who knows how it sees the rest of the family, the neighbors, and especially the children in the house.
