FDA Does Not Approve
The FDA does not approve Lyrica, which is a one time treatment for depression.
If this is the drug that has that crazy commercial I don’t wonder why. For those of you who may not have seen it or know what I’m talking about, the TV ad shows a woman and a wind up doll that looks like her. Without the drug she is depressed and her doll is bent over. After taking the drug the woman looks high as a kite and out of it she it holding and staring at the doll. She looks like she’s on drugs with no connection to reality. Who are the idiots that made that commercial?
Senate Passes New Health Care Bill
Well the news just came in that our Senate passed the new health care bill. One of the things this means is that almost everyone will be required to purchase some kind of health insurance.
I couldn’t afford health insurance before but now I guess I magically will be able to. Does no one think that a great majority of those who are uninsured wish they could afford to purchase health insurance? Well since it will be a law now I believe my grocery shopping will have to end and that wasn’t going so well to begin with.
The only saving grace is that I heard some time earlier that things won’t be inforced till about 2011-2013. So if the world ends in 2012, I should be OK.
