I have not posted all week because my daughter had her first baby, a perfect little boy!
She was still waiting for her due date on Oct. 6th and had a doctor’s appointment on the first. She had been having a lot of cramping about 2 days prior to the 1st and I thought that the doctor would say she started labor.
Our neighbor drove us to the doctor’s office and half way there we had a flat tire which we were unable to change because part of the jack was missing. My daughter was on the ground half under the car trying to figure it out.
Meanwhile a woman we had never seen before stopped and asked if we needed help, I explained the situation and she offered to drive us the rest of the way.
The doctor examined her and told us to get right to the hospital. We checked in at 11:45 and to the doctor’s amazment we had a baby by 5:04. He’s very small but so is my daughter, he’s 18 inches long and 5 lbs. 5 oz.
Not only was her labor short, but she only pushed about a dozen times and he was born. Although she was in extreme pain she never cried out or swore and doctor said she only had like a little scratch.
I think this is due in part to all the walking she did while pregnant, she kept very active and ate for the most part as the doctor ordered.
Congratulations!!
