I can’t believe it took a study for this but here it goes. The study found that if workers of a nursing home got flu vaccines and were healthy, then the residents would also be healthy.
I guess they figured out if workers came to work sick they would pass the germs and illnesses on to the residents of the home, who usually have lowered resistance.
We probably didn’t need a study to determine this, it just makes sense. Most companies don’t want a sick person to come to work because they will just end up passing it on to others and will not work efficiently anyway.
