Vaccines for flu that the U.S. government is pushing to cut deaths and prepare for a possible pandemic may be linked to slightly higher rates of a paralyzing nerve disorder.
Patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome, were more likely to have been diagnosed in the seven weeks after vaccination than in a period four to six months later.
The government is still saying that the risk with the flu vaccines are still worth it, considering the amount of people that die from the flu every year.
