Human Waste
The Catholic Church is once again leading the nations hypocrites, this time under the title of destroying embryos for stem cell research. They say that even though clinics are throwing away these embryos, that we should not be a part of it by experimenting on them.
The fact is, is that they are being destroyed anyway and I see no reason why if that is the case, that we should not take advantage of this raw material, to help cure ailments with the stem cells.
I refer to this way of thinking as being hypocritical because many catholics are for the war in Iran and they see the innocents that are killed as acceptable collateral damage. Maybe you can see the difference but I do not.
Not to mention the fact that when you outlaw something like this, it doesn’t stop it, it merely forces it underground where there can’t be any type of over site or regulations, but I guess they figure if they can’t see it, it doesn’t exist.
Also consider this, how many of these people are being treated for conditions with therapies that were developed from experiments and knowledge gained from victims of the holocaust during Hitlers reign of terror in his concentration camps. Does that not mean that they are benefiting from the obscene tortures that took place then?
I guess it is OK to have it both ways if it benefits you.
